During filming, Hedwig was played by four different bright and beautiful snowy owls - each one trained to perform very specific actions. For the first time, watch an owls eye view of the Great Hall as one of the animal actors who played Hedwig swoops through the iconic set at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London and see the behind-the-scenes training techniques used to achieve this magnificent flight.

Mechanical branches mercilessly threw the flying car back and forth during the scene when Harry and Ron crash landed into the Whomping Willow. According to special effects supervisor, John Richardson, "The whole thing was very real. As Rupert and Dan were sitting in the car at the time, it gave them a lot to react to!"

Forty kittens were filmed in front of a blue screen to help create Dolores Umbridge’s famous porcelain kitten plates, which can be seen at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London in Umbridge’s Ministry of Magic office. Head Animal Trainer, Julie Tottman and her team will be training a litter of kittens using the same techniques. They will appear at the Studio Tour during Animal Actors week between 25th May – 2nd June. See the kittens’ training progress
